Fall, Come Sooner. :)

Dear Fall,
I'd really appreciate it if you would come sooner to Arizona. Sure having 100 degree weather was nice for about one day. Now all the other states are getting your presence. Except us. :( I'd love to have Fall visit Arizona. I miss wearing hoodies and fuzzy boots. They make me smile. :) I want to be able to decorate my house in smartly dressed scarecrows and itsy bitsy pumpkins. Oh and the candy corn. :) So with all that being said, please consider visiting me and my state. Many thank yous.

Be Bold (:

Summer is all about having fun and being as stupid and crazy as you want. Well, that's how it is to me! Yesterday a few friends of mine all came over for a sleepover and just to have some very much needed girltime. We all live in the same neighborhood and all our houses are in a quare pattern. So we would walk inbetween our houses to go do different activities. When we were over at one friends house we were going through her closet and we found two tutus and a bright green poncho. I thought it would be fun and publicily embarrasing to wear them back to my house. We forgot it was 110 degrees and the hottest part of the day so the girl wearing the poncho created a new look and folded it over her head. (: So I guess this post is about having some fun. You only get to live once so why not live it up?? Well that's my schpeil for the day! (; What was the funnest thing you have done over this summer?

Bye Bye Facebook

Well, I decided that I was becoming a bit of a Facebook addict. Whenever I had a free moment I would just hop on the computer and log in. So a friend and I were chatting and we decided that maybe it was time to deactivate our accounts. So later that day I was sitting at that computer torn whether to press that little button that said deactivate. But I had the willpower to! (: I deleted it a few days ago and already I can tell that I've had more time. I just finished a book which I most likely wouldn't of finished if I still had a Facebook. Also, sitting back and looking at how many people are constantly updating their status or uploading pictures of themselves kind of gave me a reality check. Was I becoming a bit of a narcissist myself? Well all that is behind my now and oh boy do I feel enlightened! Is it time you take a step back and look at how much time you spend on Facebook or Myspace?

Self Timer Fun (:

This week my mother went to New Mexico to look a horse that she might buy. She let me bring along a friend so I could amuse myself (: Well I guess you could say we made the best out of the situation. My friend and I decided while we were at the ranch we would take a few photos and call it a photoshoot (: Thank goodness for self timer! We documented our trip with loads of pictures and that just made it so fun! Well that's all for today post! (: Hope you weekend is fab!

Classy T.P.ing?

Well, over summer break we all know that us youth love going and toilet papering our friends right? Yes, but have we ever stopped to think of how annoying it is to the ones getting t.ped? No, this summer we have beeen t.p.ed numerous times and it's definatly getting old. I think it was time we start heartattacking again. (: Heart attacking is an old time faovrite were you cut out papers hearts in various sizes then go arrange them in the persons yard. I enjoy writing little inside jokes or fun times that I've had with that person on the hearts so it's more "customized." I don't mind getting heartatacked because it's always fun remmbering fun times with that person while your picking up scattered hearts throughout the yard. So would we ever be able to call heartattacking classy?

Simple Treasures

Well, I haven't been on my blog in quite some time so I decided I would catch up today. Well today was one of my lazier days. I invited one of my friends over and we decided to go through my moms closet looking for interesting things. My mom's mother and her grandmother had amazing style, always trying to look presentable. Well it turns out my mother had inherited some of her grandmother and mom's clothing. It was all so gorgeous. There is two dresses I absolutely adore. One goes a little past my knees and has a 4 inch sleeve. It's covered in pearls, lace, and crystals. Then there is a strapless dress that goes just to my knee caps and has pearls and different adornments on the cream material. Right at my hip there is fabric that comes out into a sort of "tutu" style that I absolutely love! My mom said that the first dress I talked about was custom made for my grandmother and every single pearl and crystal were hand sewn on their. That made me appreciate it even more! I would put on pictures of the dresses but it is getting late and quite frankly I'm getting sleepy! (: So you should keep checking the blog for pictures of the dresses! So I was browsing a Teen Vogue last week and I came across these beauties. Now I'm not a huge fan of tennis shoes, but these called to me! I think these would just look magnificent with a pair of pale skinny jeans and a light floral top. Oh and perhaps a crocheted flower for your hair? What are your thoughts?

Finally Giving In

Today I was introduced the the wonderful world of blogging (: My sister has always been made fun of by my brothers for her blog, and yet now I have decided to make one.
